Y pipe hitting floor board

Early this year I installed Slp longtube headers with slp y-pipe. Under hard acceleration, from a stop, especially when turning the y- pipe smacks against the drivers side floor board. It doesn't seem to be doing any damage but its getting really annoying. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you remedy this problem I was thinking maybe changing to stiffer motor mounts and a stiffer tranny mount would help? If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them. Thanks.

Hey Jason, just reading your sig and you have pretty the same car I have less the headers but mine's a vert. Do you have pics of your undercarrage? Any install issues with you headers? I'm gonna be gettin those headers before next season and I'm just wondering how you like em and what not.

Cheers.

P.S

Is your car lowered at all? If so any clearance issues?

Thanks a bunch...

The car feels so much more responsive. Sorry no pictures of the under carriage, or any of my mods. But they are coming soon. I was lucky enough to have a buddy with a lift. Which made the header install much easier. The only problem I have is with the y-pipe(that comes with the headers) smacking the floor board. No my car is not lowered in fear of the headers and cats scraping. They already scrape on steep inclines & declines. Otherwise no problems.
