I would say its fair. I think Ed in Tulsa charges something in that area for LT1s.

I did mine through PCMforLess and it was no where near as high.

Gripp: you did a "dynotune" through PCMFORLESS or a Mail-order tune?

That's fair. MTI here in Houston charged me $400 to dyno tune my 05 Silverado, so it sounds about right.

If you get a big enough group of people to say they will do it you can rent dyno time and PCM4less will come to you and do dyno tuning.

For a dyno tune its between $150-$350ish max depending on where you are and how far we had to go to get there. It also depends on vehicle type.

I did not know this, perhaps ED in Tulsa won't be tuning my car....

Do you trust the shop, do you feel that they would do a good job?
I live in the chicago suburbs and am close to ls1speed. They charge 400 and 450 for FI cars. It seems high but i feel they will do a good job so it is worth it for the extra hp.
