02 Sensor question

i have a 97 z28 6 speed
i just put on jet hot long tube headers and a catless hooker y-pipe. when i first got it back, my stick would shake very badly when i would try to accelerate at low rpm's, and i found out i had cracked spark plug, put a new one in and it was fixed.

well last night i was runnin my car a little but, and after i got done, it was sputtering really bad when i accelerated at low rpm's in 6th gear, but my shift **** wasn't shaking quite as bad, just a little bit.

i still haven't gotton 02 extenions yet, or a 02 simulator...could this be causing the problem? if so, why did it just start last night, when it's been fine driving w/o the 02 stuff hooked up for about 2 weeks.

i'm gonna order my stuff tonight....i need
2 02 extensions.. and
1 02 simulator correct?

where can i get them???
i know i have an o2 sensor on each header, IF i only need 1 o2 simulator, which one should i get on this page??
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...28&prmenbr=361

gm 1997-02 w/ 2 sensors
or
gm 1997-02 w/ 1 sensor?

does that mean 1 or 2 simulators?? or 1 or 2 sensors?

youll need 2 O2 extentions with a flat connector so be sure to look for that and then 2 sims to plug into the wiring harness where the rear O2s were at.

as far as the sputtering.. you maybe have a burnt plug wire.

i though there was 1 o2 sensor on each manifold, and one after both cats on a stock y pipe..so wouldn't i need 2 extensions for the headers, and then just one simulator to plug up the one where the stock y-pipe one woudl be?

Your car had 4 O2's when it was stock ..... 2 on each side, one before each cat and 1 after each cat.

You'll need 2 flat blade extension cables and 2 O2 sims.

Thomas.
