if i gapped my plugs to .030 could that make my car miss fire, i gapped my plugs to .030 and know it does miss fire, i am going to get new plugs and gap it to .040 and see what that does?




it ran fine with the plugs gapped to .040 so it has to do with the plugs i just dont know what????

I do not quite understand what you are asking. Also why would you gap them that low?

Nothing wrong with gapping them that low. I've ran .035 for quite a while to make life easier on the opti.

What brand of plugs did you install? Double check everything. Make sure you didn't drop a plug or mixed up your wires.
