depending on what gears you have 2.73 or 3.23's good times are anywhere from 14.1-13.8 @ around 100mph

Good question. I don't even know what my gearing is. How could I find out?

Quickest way is to check the RPO codes in the glove box. That'll tell you the ratio, as long as they haven't been changed. Look for the following codes:

GU2: 2.73
GU4: 3.06 (V6 Cars)
GU5: 3.23
GU6: 3.42 (M6 Cars)

If the gears were changed, try doing 70 MPH in 3rd gear (1:1 ratio) and look at the tach, the RPM's will tell you the gears. If all else fails, put the car up on a lift, or at least get the back wheels off the ground, and with the car in neutral, mark the driveshaft and wheel, then count how many times the driveshaft rotates per revolution of the wheel.

I see GU5. So, what times could I expect. I assume the automatic transmission is 4LE60? Or whatever.

They're the same thing.

RPO code for limited slip is G80.

They're on this site too, in the miscellaneous section, but I couldn't open the file, so this is the easiest.

With no mods, traction, perfect run, etc. look for high 13's. Don't think it could be any better than 13.8. But, there's always the possibility it can be.

Whoa..I thought 14.1 would've sounded about right. I'm eventually gonna put Hooker Catback Exhaust along with a K&N Filter system. I'm guessing I'll have around 315 horses at the crank?
