1-6-06 Track results

Ran a 12.01 @ 111, 1.63 60'....

then spun a 12.4 @ 111, 1.89 60'.....

then spun a 12.1 @ 111, 1.73 60'...

then last run, another 12.01 @ 111, this time a 1.61 60'.

On both 12.01 passes, I felt the front wheel come off the ground a little bit. My dad got the last one on video, but towards the end of the run he decided that the bleachers looked nicer than my car

Anyways here you go

(BTW, I lost 2mph with the 12-bolt )

Very nice. I have been waiting for 2 months to go to the track and try out my CPT transmission. Hope my times improve.

Re: 1-6-06 Track results

Nice run...what rpm are you launching at? The reason I ask is that I used to bring up the rpms a little to about 1500 or so and then launch it and I was stuck in the 1.60 range, then I tried just flooring it off idle and "bam" 1.55's..There's a 1.59 in there somewhere and there's your 11 second run. I also do a good burn out leaving it in "3" and holding the line lock until it shifts into 3rd and rpms start to drop off, then let it creep up to the line. I run my M/T Radials at 17 psi cold...Good luck, your car sounds great, too...

Re: 1-6-06 Track results

Thanks Alan.

I launched at 2000 RPMs and pulled the 1.63 60', and 2200 RPM's and pulled a 1.61 60'. I guess every converter is different, but I will try flashing it off idle.
