1.6 R.R. Suggestions

I am kooking into 1.6 roller rockers for my car. I have heard that Crane makes a pretty good set, but I also want to change out the valve springs to be safe. Which brand should I get? Any hints or tips about installion would be greatly appreciated! Fill free to share any info...

Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 self align.

Crane 10308-1 springs would be good also, though they might be overkill for the stock cam. They handle .600lift and 7000rpm.

I am running both on my car. Im also not sure, but I thing the Comp S/A's can take more lift than the Crane S/A's before you have to go non-self align and guide plates. So thats a plus if you ever install a larger cam. While your at it you might as well replace the rocker studs and go 7/16". Don't forget a good set of valve seals, there not over $50.

I also would reccomend CM Motorsports or ThunderRacing, thats were I get 95% of my parts.

Can you give me part #'s from Summit? Did you notice any performance gains?

Comp Pro Mag 1.6 self-align 3/8" stud: 63-1318-16
I forgot the 7/16" stud rockers are only non-self align.

Comp High-tech chromemoly 7.200" pushrods: 63-7940-16

Yes I got all of that from TR.

Saftey precaution with the stiffer springs and 1.6 rockers. It wouldnt be fun to install all that stuff and then bend a stock pushrod.

Why did you pull out the intake manifold? Reason I ask is because I just got done resealing mine. I don't want to take it off unless I have to! BTW, are those full length's?
