1 Last T.B. Bypass Question on a '94...
So I know that on a '94 you need to buy a barb and connect the 2 hoses that originally went to the throttle body.
I had to get a new upper radiator hose and it doesnt have the provisions for the TB bypass (plus it looks cleaner) and I'm usng the radiator out of a '96...
So would it be ok just to plug the inlet on the heater line and run it as is or do I need something else? Also what should I use to plug it? Would a 3/8ths vacume cap and hose clamp work?
Thanks,
Stephen

The line running along the passenger's side valve cover is not a heater line; it's a line coming from the back of the heads that's necessary to relieve air that might develop in the heads from steam. Don't cap off this line.

Oh, no I was talking about the outlet on the heater line next to the coolant bleeder screw... It isnt present on the 95's and up but is on the 94's...
I thought on the 94's you connected the coolant bypass hose (on the upper radiator hose) to the outlet next to the bleeder screw (passenger side), but I dont have the bypass provisions on my hose anymore so can I just plug that outlet and with what can I plug it with that wont go out on me?

I thimk I know what you mean..
You replaced the 94 radiator hose with a 95-7 hose [with no funny 'wye' in it] and now have a hose going to the 'bleeder pipe' that you need to get rid of..
To use 95-7 configuration on 93-4 you need a 'heater outlet hose
connector'[bleeder pipe] without the 'tee' on it, that the 93-4 one has
[The 95-7 one doesn't have a tee] it is GM p/n 10262478
You just cut off the swaged clamps, and then use reg hose clamps on both ends..
The above would be the correct way to do it.. I guess you can just cap it off also, but be sure it's a good sturdy cap..

[the correct hard pipe I posted above would be best]
For now I guess you could put a short length of hose[a piece of the bypass hose you removed] on it with a clamp, then plug the end with a bolt etc that fits tight[and isn't threaded all the way up to the head] then clamp that.. that should hold..
