Seriously people - stop messing with your sensors. They are positioned and designed the way they are for a good reason.

If the car was in gear and driving then it hit the rev limiter, there's probably no damage. The rev limiter is there to prevent damage to the engine in the case of an over rev. I wouldn't worry about it.

and if anything, you dont want more fuel being dumped into your LT1. the things run rich enough from the factory, why trick it into adding even more fuel?

Re: 1 more reason to keep the screen on your MAF

They dont do it for fuel purposes ...

The higher the IAT reading, the more timing the PCM can pull. Its moved to help keep the PCM from pulling timing in hot weather and ****. It wont hurt anything if its done right.

I let mine alone for now, but I dont think it owuld hurt anything moving it. It does give better throttle response in hot weather ... supposedly ... I havent done it so I cant say for sure ?

Show or link any legitimate documentation stating the IAT sensor influences engine timing.

I would have to trust Madwolf on this one unless someone else can chime in with some real data. How did this get started being done who came up with this mod. I was going to do it too when I first got on the board, but I dont want to waste my time if there are no real gains.
