Is 11.54:1 compression too much on 93 octane?

Finally got the heads cc'ed and 3 ports came out to 58 1/3cc and the rest were 58cc. If 11.54:1 is too much than i'll go with a 0.049 gasket and that should put it at 11.25:1 which i know it can handle.

The cam will be either a

230/244 .544/.574 112 LSA

or

234/242 .548/.558 110 LSA

Could someone help me find the ABDC of these two cams so I can calculate my dynamic? Thanks.

whats the intake centerline and advertised durations on those cams? You can get IVC times from that. Is this on the stock shortblock?

I don't have a cam card for either =/. I just have the .50 duration and lift numbers. Stock block with .030 over and 3.750 crank.

You should be fine with 11.54 with that cam. I ran 11:1 in texas heat with that cam.

Re: Is 11.54:1 compression too much on 93 octane?

I got 8.52 :1 with the cc306 and my setup with 11.54:1 compression ratio. Now what about the other cam. I don't have desktop dyno here so can't find the ABDC of that second cam.

What calculator are you guys using? I went to two websites. One asks for cam timing abdc (which is 55) and the other asks for cam timing abdc +15 degrees (which is 70) anybody?

I got 8.46 DCR with the CC306 and cant seem to find any info on the other lobes. Either they are not Comp or Comp does not list them.
