That is fast for that cam and that car has to have some weight reduction. Look at Frank95z 11.42@116mph with a 210-224 Crane cam. There is alot more about going fast then the camshaft.

I drive my 224/230 on a 112 lsa everyday and thats bigger than a hotcam.... Nice times though untuned I could only manage a 114 but maybe Ill do better now that I dont have a stock slippy clutch...Just bought a spec stage 3...

What kind of weight reduction did he have? Specs on the HOTcam are 218*/228* duration @.050 and .525/.525 lift for those that don't know.

FastZen Tennessee My car weighed 3330 when i ran 11.42 it now weighs 3240. I hope to run some 11.20's in the cold weather. Small cams do well with stockheads Frank95z

What was the raceweight?

Great numbers - either the heads must be stout or the car is pretty light - maybe a little of both .
