110,000 miles, what cam

Re: 110,000 miles, what cam
105k i threw a cc 230/236 in mine with the valvetrain.
rev her daily over 6500.
made about 40 track passes on her allready
was spraying a 150 wet shot on top of that.
so far worst problems ive had is blowing my rear end twice and a throttle body thats sticking..
with that cam and stock heads i managed to pull off 12.3 in the 1/4 on set of radials.

Re: 110,000 miles, what cam
First off lose the shorty headers, they are very ineffective with any aftermarket cam.
If the engine has been well taken care of go ahead and throw a cam in it. Bare minimum cam would be a LT4 hot cam, next would be CC305 and the biggest for non-ported heads would be the CC503.
If you get mid-tube or long tube headers with one of these cam you are looking at around 30-45 increase in RWHP. If you have an all bolt-on car with any of these cams you will easily be in the 12's in the quarter.

No.
with those- id say tops being high 12's mid if you really get a good launch without blowing the rear
