To add to this.......I "thought" I had a problem with one I bought from them (it was really the harness) and they OVERNIGHTED me a replacement no questions asked! all ignition is who the ebay seller was for me.

Exactly, he was having 3 or 4 advertisement on ebay with 95/97 vented opti but they are all gone(glad i ve bought 2 ) right now all he got left are the 92/94 one.
Just keep "all ignition" in you favorite vendor and check maybe every week if he received some vented one .

I only suggest to open them up and wipe it with some carb cleaner just too be sure that it doesnt go on the optical sensor. Its also the perfect time to put some thread sceller on the rotor screw.

I recieved my Opti from All Ignintion yesturday and am very pleased with how it looks and him as a seller. Shipping is pretty quick and I asked him for a tracking # and he got right back to me. My car is going to get tore down today and hopefully in the next few days I'll have this new one on and we'll see how it works.

I think we have the ACCEL Optispark to thank for the low price on these AC-Delco units:

It'll only be a matter of time before vendors start catching on that you can now get a "better" aftermarket optispark for the same, (or in some cases less), money than an OEM unit, and we'll probably be seeing alot more $150 GM opti's for sale.

Gotta put this question out there, I don't remember the stock setup before I replaced the opti and water pump.
I used this Ebay unit and an Autozone water pump. When I plug in the coil wire, the rubber boot comes into contact with the pump body on the high side of the pump (is that clear? ). There is a lot of heat there, and after only several miles (wires are new too) I can see a discoloration of the boot.
So the question is - has anyone else seen that? I'm wondering if the coil nipple is in a slightly different position. Or maybe the Autozone pump is a little different?
I tucked a little piece of heat shield from my plumbing supplies in between to try to protect the boot.
