I plan on being here. Had an issue last year that kept me from being able to race but should be ready to go this time. Should be a good time for those of us that have stuck with the lt1 platform.

Why is a carburator bashed everytime someone ask...yet you get a !00# penalty for running one?

Chenge that rule and I will go....everyone says its inferior I want -100# for carb and I will be there....

Carbs are just old technology. Besides they lack drivability and changing jets suck.

But then again my car never shifted this year before about 7500rpm

our choices due to the option aftermarket EFI/Carbs give you our option were to either move them to Outlaw only or give a weight penalty to the Modified class.

We did this to try and allow car to fit in more than one class....it is very hard to come up with rules that will work for everyone.

mdacton...
Again I will explain the carb thing...........Guys with stock pcm are limited to 7200 rpms.........carb and aftermarket EFI guys are unlimited to rpms which gives them the advantage. This is the reason for a penalty for carbs and aftermarket EFI.
