Oh come on now if you're going to act informed at least have your facts straight. The block most certainly shares nothing in common with LSX stuff besides being cast from aluminum with 4.4 inch on center cylinders which has been a theme since the original sbc debuting in 1955

It does have variable cam phasing, direct injection, cylinder deactivation made possible with collapsible lifters, it does have contoured pistons to produce a combustion chamber for the direct injection. 11.5:1 compression with completely brand new heads (not reworked) it doesn't have a modded ECM it has a brand new ECM and the exhaust manifolds are most certainly cast from iron not aluminum. AL exhaust manifolds would be ridiculous on a street car because they would not be durable enough and with enough sustained high engine loading they would melt.
