275 - 315

Ok guys 1 more month and the snow should be gone and the Z will be out hunting again Now my back tires 275-40-17 are a little low on tread and I've decided to goto Dr's because my traction sux atm. I was wondering if anyone who has switched from 275 nittos to 315 nittos notice any difference? Is the traction that much better to justify the cost? Or should I save my money and buy the 275s? Any input is appreciated!

I've run them both...275s on a 9.5" wheel and 315s on an 11"...I found no difference in 60' times....I stuck with the 275s, with all else being equal, why not go lighter and cheaper?!!!
