Not sure which one that is ?? can you tell me!! The one I changed is the VATS I was told . The car has power & key turns on the dash all lights up it cranks just no start no Fuel & no injectors . Well get it figured out sooner or later .

Check out this thread. Read one of my last replys about checking power at the PCM. Do the same test on yours.

Well you're gonna have to try and figure it out on your own because I doubt a shop will want to mess with it in its current state.

It's pretty easy really. Do you have a multimeter? You can get one from a place like walmart, radioshack or autozone.

You need to switch it to read DC volts. Then pull out the blue connector from your PCM. Look closely on the connector and you will find numbers on the corners of the connector. This will tell you how to figure out the pin numbers. Then all you have to do is connect one voltmeter lead to one of the pins and one to the other. This will measure your voltage.

Here is a picture of your blue connector. You will want to measure the voltage between #1 and #3 pin (holes) on this connector. Easier?

Both OBD1 and OBD2 use the plug coloring on the ECM. Shoeboxs site has some nice pictures of the ECM pin-outs and the harness plugs .

Re: 3.4 to Lt1 Swap wiring problems PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE???

Ok I ran all the tests & found on the black PCM connector numbers B30 & B31 had no PCM Battery feed or Ignition feed so I spiced into the wire & added a 12 volt power feed to both on one wire not sure if I can do that but it worked now the car starts but just shuts right off . It wont stay running any other ideas why it could be doing this , Im so excited I got to hear her start up !!!! YAAAA no thanks to you mad wolf

ANyway email me or pm me back please Im ready to hear her run!!!

YOU GUYS ROCK EVERYONE HELPING ME you have no idea how much this means to me . Im starting it with open headers right now I dont have the exhaust done yet & as soon as it started my little motor head of a 4yr old came running out to the garage & was so excited to hear it . My 4 yr old just got back from a 3 month stay in columbus ohio & had a bone marrow transplant he is my little motor head all the way .

Thats exactly right , until it experiences a good load it will seem to be fine , under load it will really miss and bog.

Yes all injectors have power & all are working as for taking it on the road no not yet Im scared , LOL . Im waiting for the guy to come over sunday with his laptop & turn everything off that i dont need & then tune it , I dont want to hurt anything.

I was backing in the garage & it jumped out of reverse why would that be its a T56 6 speed & was just completley rebuilt ???

Your shifter may need adjusting.
