3.4L to LT1 Swap Questions

If I have the engine, transmission and wiring harness from a 94 Z28 LT1, what else will I need to get ahold of to drop it into a 94 Camaro with a V6? I've got a limited slip rear end that I'm putting in it also. Will I need a new gauge set up? What else will I need to make this work?

I believe you will need a new cluster due to the differences in rpm, speed, oil pressure, and water temp. You will definitely need an LT1 k-member and motor mounts.

I'm new to this game. I've only had my Camaro since May 2006 and I've never done anything like this before. I'm having most of this work done by a local mechanic I like to go to who is pretty inexpensive. What is a K member? and how much will that run me?

Its the engine cradle, basically the platform in which the engine sits, if you check out the classifieds, you may be able to find a used one for under a hundred bucks. Otherwise, they do make aftermarket ones, which are tubular and lighter, but these run close to five hundred dollars.
