32v dominion headed lt1

I was at the dallas autorama today were there was a 95 formula with dominion 32v heads and a procharger. Does anyone know the story on this car. I did not think anyone had a running 32v lt1. I got some pics on my dads camera phone.

Re: 32v dominion headed lt1

Seems like there was a guy in Texas that was working on one...

I think he might have been on this board at one time.

The Big Show has them on his car in TX but as of last discussion the car was a Z28 and was not running yet.

Yep, Bobby Simpson aka The Big Show has posted pictures in Advanced Tech. Looks like he's making some good progress with the project too.

Search Advanced Tech for his username.

Yeah and from what I know, I've got the other one out there in the shop which is Unstable Bobs.

Re: 32v dominion headed lt1

it was not that car i have seen those pics this was a 95 formula with and ls1 front end on it the car had custom paint silver and black with lots of graphics. i looked pretty heavily and there was nothing to indicate the car would not run. it had a sheet metal intake and a distirbutor but had and lt1 timing cover, and water pump hosing. I will get the pics up tomorrow.

Re: 32v dominion headed lt1

I have heard about this car, I believe it's from Waco. A friend of mine was keeping me updated on it but I haven't heard from him in a while. Last time I talked to him it was on the engine stand but it looks like they have gotten a little farther

Re: 32v dominion headed lt1

What kind of power can you expect from an engine like that?

Re: 32v dominion headed lt1

What kind of work goes into putting a 32v setup on a LT1? Are the gains really worth it?
