The sweep has been checked on the pushrods, my installer doesn't seem to think that is the problem.....
Bill and I are having the same problem and have discussed this on this board and on kyhorsepower, so this thread is ok, because I was letting him know that I was having the same problem, his car was tuned by the same guy that tuned mine and on the same dyno, out graphs are almost identical so we are trying to figure this out.........but when I install the new springs if my pushrods are indeed to long then they will be changed too, I have taken in out feedback from everyone and have taken notes, believe me we want this fixed.........

Why do you think anything is wrong with pushrods? I have a 7.900 someone else with a similat set-up had 6.900....it all depends on alot of things. Maybe you have a taller lifter. As long as the sweep is good your fine.

I am just going by what a few guys are saying on here, that guy that changed my springs the last time, said that the geometry looked fine and nothing jumped out at him, so I am just going by what other people are saying, but I do have longer valves, which means a little longer pushrod....I will have them measured and checked when I have the new springs installed to be on the safe side, yeah I have spent alot of money, but its not pushrods alone causing this problem, thats for sure......I really believe that the springs are just not strong enough.......

Just swap it out...its too aggressive.
Call crower, cam techniques, cam motion, bullet racing.....they can get you what you need within a few days.
We get cams from cam techniques withing 2 days They are like $375 for a billet roller

Don't know if its the same cam, but very similar, I kinda like the cam, but if the these new springs don't cure the problem, then morew than likely that will be the next process, but I hate to do that right now, because is easier and cheaper to change the springs than to swap out cams, I have spent alot of money already, so I am trying the simple stuff first, but going that route may add up to a big bill too, lol.....can't win for losing, but I am trying......

This just in from lloyd Elliot regarding the Comp 921's only:
I just checked the pressure on these and make sure you are getting them set up at 1.720.
They call for a 1.750-1.770 set up ht BUT they only have 143 lbs of seat pressure at 1.750. This is not much more than the bee hives are and the bee hive is able to work witha lower pressure. make sure and increase the seat pressure to fix the problem.
1.720 set up ht still gets you .080 travel before coil bind with the .600 lift of your cam (1.040 is coil bind) and you only need .030-.040 so you are still safe.
Heck, you could set them up at 1.700 but there is really no need.
1.720 should get you about 155 lbs on seat and 395 lbs open. This will control the valves and eliminate any problem you are having if it is spring related.
Most of your problem is the 1.800 set up ht and the rest is due to the rocker adjustment. Add about 20 lbs of seat pressure and 50 lbs of open pressure along with the proper lifter pre load (rocker adjustment) and you will be fine.

Well I hope that fixes yours, Bret thought he had the answer for mine too, but it din't work, so I am trying something else lets home yours gets fixed, I am sure lookinh for good numbers out of your car....
