383 Le2

Re: 383 Le2
I spun my stock bottom end/TEA heads, 230/236 on a dyno to 6600, made max power at 6300, and then a rod bearing went bye bye. Then I proceded to drive the car home about 90 miles, in stop and go traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike, in the middle of summer no less with the A/C on at times, and made it home. LOL, man, rod bearings 5 and 6 were HAMMERED when I took it apart. Anyhow, I run AFR 210's with a welded/epoxied/ported LT4 intake, AS&M 58 TB. I think the 210's are the way to go on a 383 or 396. If you can top it off with a Super Vic intake converted to EFI, then you will really be in good shape

Anyone drive this setup around town? Looking for some more feedback on this setup from LE.

Re: 383 Le2
Any have any sound clips with a setup like this? Or idea of how loud this setup would be with true duals and dumps...?
Looking for a good sounding exhaust now to go with this setup. I'm not sure how much louder it is now compared to the 350 cam only setup.
