Before ripping anything apart, determine if your engine was "externally" balanced (needs the weight on the flywheel/flexplate), or "internally" balanced (does not need the weight on the flywheel/flexplate).

I tryed talking to the guy I bought the motor off of I asked him is the motor externally or internally balanced and he keeps saying yeah the motor is balanced which of course dosent answer my question. So he is no help. This is what I know about the internals it's a eagle rotating assembly. Eagle forged crank I have reciept here that he had the crank balanced.I have no idea how I can tell if this motor is externally or internally balanced. The vibration deff feels like it is coming from the clutch area and feels like something is just out of balance.

If you have the receipt just call the shop that did the work and ask them how they balanced it.

Most likely an internal balance as most shops will internal balance with an aftermarket crank and flywheel for a performance build. I do not see any weights on the flywheel in the picture. If you can unbolt the weight from the flywheel you have now, I would just do that and see if that fixes the issue.

Yeah I don't see any weights either. I am just going to remove the weights and see what happens

if its anything like sbc 1pc seal crank, the weight is built into the flywheel. you cant remove it.

you sure your firing order is correct?

I'd call the shop that balanced it and then remove the weight if needed, then you should be good to go. If nothing else get the fidanza flywheel resurfaced, and get a new clutch to go with it and slap it in and run.....just my $.02
