383 Stroker Parts

I'm building a 383 it has Advanced Induction 215cc Heads, ported intake, custom grind cam and i need to know what the best pistons are to put in it if I'm doing forced induction? It will be between 100-250 shot. And is it better to run a wet or dry NOS kit?

Re: 383 Stroker Parts

I dont normally consider forced induction "nitrous". Blower or turbo is forced induction. Nitrous is just a power adder.

Doesnt really matter. I like JE/SRP, and used them in my nitrous 383 (SRP) and JE heavy duty pistons in my twin turbo 401. A good forged piston is needed but brand is really up to you. I'd stick with the 2618 material for pistons. Its more ductile and more forgiving with power adder setups, especially nitrous.
