I have an idea guys! Are you tired of seeing nothing but LS1s in mags like GMHTP and the rest. Why don't we email these guys and ask why they havn't done a story on the quickest N/A 4TH Gen in the world! Trust me, Joe's car looks as good as it is fast It's about time he got some respect

Holy hell yeah! Man is that faster than the fastest naturally aspirated ls1? All motor that is one hell of a damn feat what do you think it puts to the ground about? Hell the fastest F-body is only .8 seconds faster than that and its got a supercharger (maybe spray too I forget), once your done tearing it up n/a you should see if you can top the 8.5 second ls1 I mean damn .8 seconds and about 15 mph is a lot but it aint **** when you have spray AND forced induction to add, lol!!

I agree with you Quickshot,

It seems like the LT1 has been forgotten. I would like to see some LT1 stories

Re: 388 CI. LT1 "ALL MOTOR" 9.361@143.17

Joe has the record for NA lt1/ls1 fuel injected stock suspenion cars..period. The closest ls1 is the SAM car at 9.50. All this still on a 23 deg. head...think what is gonna be happeneing when the playing field is leveled some. The ls1s come with a killer 15 deg head from the factory....so with a little equaling of the "valve angle" things are gonna get real interesting. When I saw the rules for the f-body racing..and say that in joes class you could run any head..I just looked at them and grined and said "You ls1 guys are gonna bet beat...and you don't even know it yet..but your gonna get beat bad "

Way to go joe.

Thumbs up Re: 388 CI. LT1 "ALL MOTOR" 9.361@143.17

There are a few picks of the Wonderdog's car here.

It's one thing to be fast, it's a whole other thing to be breaking records! Joe, my hat goes off to you. Keep up the good work.

On this little cylinder head thing.... looks like they are making concessions for race heads but what are the stipulations?

The 18º head would be a nice step but what about the newer head designs like sb2.2 and so on. They allowing anything with a cant?
