392 rwhp....387 rwtq...is that good?

Considering I was running on 7 cyl...lol. Looks like its all boiling down to a bad opti on my car..first it was a 6750 rpm shutdown then it stopped firing all my plugs. I checked the car worming up with a laser temp guage. Every cyl. was heating up within 30-50 deg of each other and would go to 400-500 deg range when I would rev the motor..the # 4 stayed in the 100-115 temp range even when reved. Plug is wet so I know the inj. is firing and tried a new plug wire..still doing the same thing. Oh well..time for a new opti and see what we can get out of this thing with the new heads and hopefully all the bugs worked out.

Results should be known soon....any guess what a v8 power is conpaired to a v7?

I agree on the high rpm's, and very nice #'s for only being on 7 cyl. Get it fix and dynoed again, see what she's really got.
BTW-whats the spec's on your soild roller? Unless they are a secert..

I know that Joe O takes his way above that...I'm hoping to at least be able to take it to 7200 with the new one.

The car has already made 30 rwhp peak and 50 rwhp(6750) over the old heads dyno curve..that was with the issues in the upper rpms that I thnk were costing me some hp. I think that it should pull well to 7000 rpms where my old heads fell off at 6550 and I was way down on hp by 6900.

Cam is cam motion 255/263 dur with 652/628 lift.

Sounds like somebody's gonna get the 6speed na record. What do you think the car has in it on motor?

That thing is going to fly once it runs on all 8 cylinders.

Tim, glad to see that you hopefully have the problem figured out! I say you have 460rw there. Cant wait to see the new times!

I think the car has a 10.5 in it all motor. We shall see. If I can catch some of this great air we are having here it may go lower. Hoping to be bumping the 130 mph mark. Best mph so far with new heads was 125.98 coasting about the last 150 ft or so..that was with the shortshifting and coasting because it was cutting up at 6700 rpms.

yea..I 'm thiinking somewhere in the 460 range..which is cool going through a 9" and 4.71 gears. that would be a peak of about 40 rwhp over my baseline dyno right before I pulled the old heads off and prolly 60rwhp or more if this thing carries out like it looks like its toing to at 7000. The area under the curve should be a vast improvement over my old setup and I think it(old heads) had a 10.7 in it in good air.

You still having problems with that? Just get it fixed!

Looking forward racing this year. Might have something up my sleeve that will give the LS1's run for the money in my class.

lol..yea..hopefully I will have it fixed this week...I work on it a while then get disgusted with it and take a brake.

You do know that you don't have a class this year right. Your old class is no more. The first class available is the class that the thunder car and I fit into.

Go figure, that should be ok, I'm still racing in it though. If you don't have a ten anything might as well not compete in that class. So with that said, makes you wonder what I have in store for the class.
