396 stroker part advice

I'm going to purchase brians car in this thread :http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=170259

what kinds of things would you reccomend for the parts it needs? I know you guys know it best, I trust the board 100x more than a mechanic.

i need heads and exhaust. Now, for heads, should i spend the extra and get ported lt4 instead? i want this machine to have as much power as possible. and exhaust, i was thinking hooker lt with y pipe? any thoughts? and if you have any parts i need for sale? thanks!
