I am running one in my LT1 setup purchased the cam from Cam Motion. You have to remove the opti, weld the opti drive hole shut and machine it smooth and flat, so you can run a cam button. As for the pcm all you need to do is swap 4 and 7 spark plugs on the distributor.

SBC and LT1-4 firing orders 18436572 with 4/7 swap 18736542

thats from my local fbody site

5-6 rwhp is cool with me every bit helps

I already have long enough wires anyway because they run all the way to the back of the engine to the distributer(oldskool style)

I was thinking I could change the firing order through my programable digital 7 box but that would only help me with spark and not fuel since the fuel is run still off the stock pcm controlled by the rpm signal from the optical sensor in the opti

I guess I could only change the 2 plugs on the injectors and change the firing order through the msd box right and leave the ignition wires as is right?

thanks for the help guys
Dave
I would just swap the 2 injector driver wires at the PCM connector

I am just using it for fuel management

With your setup and that cam, your motor is definitely going to want to see above 7k for sure. That's why I asked if you were using the stock computer. How fast has your car gone so far?
