400+hp on stock bottom end with h/c setup?

I am running a heavier car and the converter is setup to launch hard since the chassis will handle it but I have a 3400 Edge. You could go with Edge Yank Vigilante all are good and say 3200+ stall higher would be better for the strip IF the car can plan the power.
Was a time when I was afraid of stall but once I had experiance with QUALITY torque converters I found it is just fine. Wife actually likes to drive the car, when I had a 2800 and 3.42s in it passengers mistook it for stock at low speeds, abrupt application of the skinny pedal corrected them.

Depends on the intended use of this car. If you want better track numbers, you need a higher stall (in most cases). I would go 4-4200 if this is a weekend "fun" car. And 3400ish if it were a daily driver.

i put 396hp down with heads, cam, and boltons on a 3K stall. would have put down over 400 but had to leave the dyno shop. also that was on a load bearing dyno in OD with and a/f ratio of under 12! car kept shifting out of 3rd so we had to run it in OD. if my tranny was tuned properly at the time and i would have been able to run it in D i would have broke 400hp. and if it was a non load bearing dyno i would have put down like 410 even in OD.

If stricktly a drag car I would say yes to the 4200ish. Will it be an all motor setup or see any nitrous? If some light nitrous I wouldn't go over 4200. If on motor, talk to whom ever specs the heads/cam to figure out power band, but 4200-5000 would be good for an all out NA drag car.
