6spd guys... i have a few questions concerning your oil pressure.
#31
I have seen a chart showing different types of bearing wear and the causes and I know that bearings can be affected if you lug the motor down
I agree with a previous post , if you are under 1k in 6th you are probably in the wrong gear . Other then that I dont think that our cars are subject to being lugged down like a truck or a car used for towing .
also it is good to see that my oil pressure is the same as everyone elses , sometimes i worry thinking it is too low ( on a a4 car )

6th gear was usefull though when my car was completely stock. After doing a few mods especially after headers my car didn't like 6th with the stock rear. 6th became much more usefull after I went to 4:10's and feels even better now after the cam

According to the helms manual the minimum pressure at operating temperature should be no less than:
6 psi at 1,000 RPM
18 psi at 2,000 RPM
24 psi at 4,000 RPM
Your values are about twice the minimums.
But to get back to your original question:
-The dash mounted oil pressure guage is not that accurate, If you're concerned, get a mechnanical gauge and check it. When I did, I found that my idle pressure was 5 psi lower than the dash gauge indicated. Change out the oil pressure sending unit on the engine, they can wear out after a while.
-Engine oil could have thinned out if it's old. try changing it. Some use 10w30 in place of 5w30 to alleviate this problem.
-Or, the bearing clearances in the engine could be on their way out.
Their are other more in depth discussions on this if you search for them
