Good luck finding him. I have talked to his friends and even they can't get ahold of him. I wanted him to do some work for me as well. You can go ahead and wait on him and hopefully he will show up before you car is a classic.

Assuming what was said about 40-50 complaints and that the product didn't contain what they advertised, I'd say that you've got a good shot at a class action lawsuit. However, a hit like that would probably force them into bankruptcy. I'd recommend getting a decent lawyer to convince them that it would be in their best interest to "persuade" you not to pusue a class-action lawsuit.

We alll saw the list posted on the board by 12SCNDZ. That doesn't mean I can walk into a tranny shop and tell them this is what I want done. They will not warranty the work, and they may get alittle upset that the customer doesn't trust their opinion.
If I could of worked something out wil Frank I would of but he never replyed to my e-mails.

How about the parts that they advertised to use? Does anyone think that I could buy similar high performance tranny parts and have a shop that I check on build it? I would rather keep the th700r4 because I would like the extra gear. If worse comes to worse I will just get a nice 350 or 400, but will have to get some lower gears in the rear since Im not going to shell out $2000 for an overdrive.

I went into a GOOD tranny shop, plopped down the list, $900 and got a build tranny.
