847 parts list

ok so im set now on gettin a gm847, i need your guys help to get together a parts list. Ill probably buy through summit. Im going to run comps 918 springs i hear they fit without machine work and will hold the 847 with my 1.6rr. After that i get lost, what pushrods should i get chromemolly?, and what keepers or retainers and locators do i need? I will probably rev to 6600 give or take. Thanks

You're going to get different opinions on what you should get for most of those parts. You have to decide on your budget. If you can afford chromoly pushrods and titanium retainers, do it. If not, hardened rods and steel retainers should work fine. Make sure you get the +.050 hardware for the springs for added insurance. You didn't ask about guideplates, but just in case, get the GMPP ones.

GM847 install photos
(Also includes parts list and cost and from whom...)

With that cam and those springs, make sure you go with non-aligns rr.

The only things that are different from the parts on your list to what i purchased for my car are..

Comp Retainers CC787-16
Comp Lifters CC850-16

Those are what i used and have compared to the parts you are picking out and forgot to add.
Also My pushrods were a custom length and the springs i used didn't need shimms.

Hope that helps
