93 Formula + Moroso + Loudmouth + Free mods = 13.1 @ 105.7!

This is one insane car.

My friend Brett bought a yellow 93 Formula with 45k on the odometer. He has since added only a Moroso CAI, SLP Loudmouth exhaust, airfoil, and a handful of free modifications, and headed to Cecil County Dragway this morning for a little bit of 1/4 mile fun.

On stock size Kumho 245/50/16s....

60' 1.998
330- 5.5
1/8- 8.468 at 83.41 mph
1000-11.0
1/4- 13.15 at 105.7 mph!

And people call my car insanely fast for the small amount done to it...I'd say that this is quite possibly the FASTEST LT1 for under $500 worth of mods, that I have ever seen.

I'm still in disbelief...

That's great to hear. That just goes to show that the LT1 isn't all that bad.

Is he sure it was bone stock when he bought it?

Those are sweet times for those mods.

No...track is 100% level.

It was owned by a 65 year old woman...first owner, and purchased more stock than wall street. If you look in the oil filler tube, the internals are INSANELY clean.

That is fantastic!

It's always good to here of a near stock LT1 running low 13.

Makes me think that I may be able to get down there myself. (Never been to the track)

Really?!?!? I wasn't there too long. The Fiance' and I drove the Purple Pearl car there, and I thought about racing, but when I saw that it was only 1/8 mile coupled with how many were there, I decided against it.

did you race, how did you do???
