93 ram air conversion/need help??
my car has the ram air conversion kit but previous owner used misc. pieces to use as intake duct. is there a specific duct for the 93 kit that eliminates the MAF, if not how should i fix it cuz its all taped up. can i use 96-97 ducts and use a dummy MAF to fix it, or should i look at the home depot for this?

That's what I'm using, the K&N dummy tube. I look at that, along with my fernco piece of tubing, and don't like it. I've been searching everywhere for about a 8-12" long piece of 4" inner diameter tubing like the fernco, and can't find any. Someone posted a link to a turbo components site that has the stuff, but it's expensive. That's my plans at least. A single piece tube running from the airbox to the throttlebody. It should really clean up any turbulence in the incoming airflow. The dummy piece from K&N, the way it sits inside the airbox opening, looks like it would be causing a bit of a restriction as well as creating a turbulent point of entry.

i used that tube from the cai but i really dont think it looks good at all. i agree w/ fstbrd about the flow and its awful look but i cant find any replacements for this. if you guys ever find something to fix it post it up or vise-versa.
