94 camaro some problems need help
Hey all looking for some help, i have a 94 z28 m6 with about 116000 on it, been contemplating selling it but love it too much and would rather fix it.
couple of the problems i have-
coolant light-but the coolant is full and not dingy brown, replaced the thermostat and it's still there. When i take a short trip it heats up to the first line, when i get back in and start driving again it will heat up to about the half line then drop back down to the first line..
SES light- comes on after about 5-7 minutes of driving and after the car is warm. The exhaust header gasket is leaking on the driver side and could potentially be throwing the o2 sensor? it feels sluggish every now and again, especially past 3500 rpm.
thanks in advance!

Re: 94 camaro some problems need help
If the SES light is on, have it scanned. That's why it's there - to tell you that there is a specific problem. No use guessing!
The low coolant sensor is notoriously bad on these cars. You could just unplug it and the light would go away, or try replacing/cleaning the sensor. Which "thermometer" did you replace? There is no part by that name on an LT1.
Your coolant temps also sound normal. Heats up, fans come on, cools back down. As long as it's not overheating you're in good shape.

Get the actual codes, there are a few different ones for O2s.
