Re: 94 LT1 Starting Problem (Urgent)
It is not a manual. It is a automatic.
We have tried replacing the ignition switch. That is not the problem. Tried a few other small things. Can't seem to find out. We are at haunt and out of ideas. Anymore ideas?

Re: 94 LT1 Starting Problem (Urgent)
Just went thru a 5 day nightmare with my 93 Firebird Formula Lt1. Car was cranking fine, stopped to get gas, nothing but a single click each turn of the key. Tried to jump it, one click per turn. Replaced the starter because it had been heat soaking back in the summer. One click per turn still. Double checked wires hooked to starter. power at starter large post always, power to purple wire only when key turned. One click per turn. Started checking connections, cleaned batt terminals, etc. Still one click per turn. About to quit for day, noticed ground wire on top of radiator support in front of battery close to rad cap llooked dirty. Cleaned it up, said crank it again for the heck of it, it CRANKED! Downloaded fact serv manual, Couldn't figure exactly which circuits grounded to this spot (G-105 in serv man) but most diagnostics in serv man said to be sure G-105 was clean. Other ground on top of rad support on driver side is G-106. That ground also mentioned to be clean in many diagnostics in serv man. Worth a try!
