Will you see large gains out of cold air induction by itself. Probably not. But remember, everything you do compounds. Exhaust by itself...meh. CAI by itself....meh. But every little bit adds up and those kinds of mods feed off of each other. You WILL benefit with cold air when you get other supporting mods. See what I'm saying? It is a very good place to start. Remember your engine is kinda like a big air pump. The easier you make it so that air gets in (CAI/high flow air filter) and air gets out (exhaust), the more power you will make. Also, make sure your car is mechanically sound before you even begin to do mods. I have seen crappy running cars and frustrated owners because hp gains are not there when bolting on accessories because their cars were not right to begin with. Tune up tune up tune up. If you haven't yet, do it! Get the max out of your car....what it is most capable of completely stock. Mechanically sound and a pleasure to drive. Then go from there. Good luck to you and yes, the search is your friend. This site has been around a long time and every question that you could imagine asking more than likely has been asked and discussed at great length.

I went through route of a headers cam and intake so far lol , usually you upgrade all of that and your heads as well , basically wanna improve getting air in and out of the engine to make more power.

You have to tune for gears, or your speedo and maybe shift-points will be wrong (I am a 6-speed, so the shift points are a guess)
