95 lt1 with 700r4
Hello, I'm new here. I have an 89 Camaro RS with a 95 lt1 and a 700r4 one day I was driving and the tv cable slipped off the throttle body, so I've been hearing I need a 93 throttle body for it to work right? If that's the case how did they have it connected before? Please help thank you.

Only the 93 has the connector on the quadrant for the TV cable. Are you sure it doesn't already have a 93 throttle body? If you are sure its a 94-97, post a pic of the area and maybe we can spot how it was connected.
The 93 quadrant has an extra arm, angled up at 45-deg and facing the rear, with a button for the plastic tip in the TV cable to slip over. It's conceivable that someone could have added a small bolt to the throttle stop portion of the 94-97 quadrant to replicate that connection.

Definitely a 94-97 TB. The button on the lever pointing down on the side of the quadrant is for the cruise control, but I don't see a cruise control cable. If they had the TV cable on there, it would move in the wrong direction. Can't see any other place they could have connected it, except there is an oval hole on the bottom rear of the quadrant, between two of the rivet bumps. Possibly they managed to connect it there. At least as the throttle rotated, the cable would have been pulled upward and forward.
