95 Lt1. backfiring no power. need help

it was backfiring through the exhaust, was a bad opti. runs great now. i heard something about the temp sensor relocation because of to much flucuation in the water pump. where does the new one go? i looked around a lil bit but couldn find anything.

Been working on LT1's for 15 years and never heard of anyone relocating the coolant temp sensor because of "to(o) much fluc(t)uation in the water pump".

Why do you want to relocate the temp sensor?????
