check the weep hole in the waterpump,is it leaking?

It sounds like a circulation issue. It could be a bad pump or a plugged radiator. Does the radiator have any cold spots on it. Maybe you sucked in some debris into the air dam. You should be able to see the coolant start to circulate with the cap off as soon as the thermostat opens.

I say re-bleed the thing...I thought I had it bled right too with my new engine...and was overheating and checked everything that wasnt new...replaced 2-3 thermostats and almost took it to a shop to have them flush it and bleed the new...

I said "oh what the hell...i will bleed it again..." Did it and got a big o bubble out of the system and was good to go after that.

Try bleeding it a time or two more and see if it helps...if not then start looking at your other parts...
