'95 OBD-I Cable Pinout?

'95 OBD-I Cable Pinout?
I have an autoxray cable specifically for the '95 LT1 that I want to chop the autoxray connector from one end and connect a serial connector to use the various software apps instead...
Anyone know the pinouts from the OBD-II connector to the serial for this? The pins the connector has are pins 5,6,7, 9, and 12. (And it works fine with auto-xray)
Will this pinout be sufficient?

If I were to map those across, I would only end up with grnd, CAN high/j-2248, and ISO k-line. Is this enough?

OBD-I pinout for 1995 OBD-II style connector
Pins 5 and 9 are the only ones needed for the Autoxray to read the pcm.

Just in case anyone runs across this post in the future I can save you some work... I pinned out the AutoXray "Manufacturer Specific" OBD-II style connector for OBD-I systems (Blue Connector)
The pins are as follows:
5 -> blk
6 -> grn
7 -> org
9 -> yellow
12 -> red
According to this: http://www.techweasel.com/articles/troublecode/GM.htm
Pins 5 & 6 are all that are *needed* for data... so once somebody confirms, I'll get to soldering and find out what it takes to make this work!

Uh oh, I'm worried I found the answer....

I thought with a '95 I didn't have to build a circuit and it would talk directly to the RS232 port? Am I mistaken - do I *NEED* an interface like this?

If you are trying to connect it to a laptop, then yes, you will need a converter. You can't just simply map the pins to a connector.
I can't get to whatever is in your link, but here is another schematic. There are other schematics on the 'net. Probably the easiest thing is to buy a cable from AKMcables or WOTelectronics. They have various "levels" of cables/kits.
