96-97 swappo

I have a 96 motor in my 95; you'll need to use your 95 knock sensor. The 96 also has a crank position sensor mounted in the timing chain cover. This is not used on the 95 so there is no issue. I'm assuming the new motor comes with the crankshaft hub. If it doesn't, you can't use the 95 hub as it is long than the 96-97; you'll have to buy a 96 style hub. Everything hooks up and runs fine.

i really dont know, i can find out when i go back to work on saturday cuz im in school all week. the 93-94 lt1 was 3k and the 95 was 3k but the 96-97 was only $1500 and makes it kinda hard to say no because it would cost more to make it on my own

1500 is a good price for a new crate lt1 that i can use to put a new heart into my 150,000km z28 and prior to install im gonna install lt4 heads with hot cam. then.......take the lt1 from the camaro and rebuild it for my 74 k5 (full convertable) jimmy 4x4. then...... take the 79' 350 and rebuild it for a chevette or my 92 mazda 323 hatchback (winter beater).... and I figure that if im putting lt4 top end on the new motor then i can used the new heads from the new motor for the old lt1 when it gets an over haul, which will leave me with a spare set of used lt1 heads. total cost for all three projects (lt4 camaro/lt1 k5 jimmy/350 sleeper)shouldn't exceed 8-10k by the end
