96 z28 conv. wireingharness.

I have a 96 z that was in a fire. it burnt most of the wires off of the top of the motor and some of the plastic.my problem is i got a set of wires off a 94,and some of the plugs are not the same.so can i use it or do i need to get one for a 96

96 engine is OBD-II. You have to get an OBD-II wiring harness, since you have several sensors that the OBD-I cars deo not have (crank position sensor, EVAP vacuum sensor, etc.). That limits you to the 96 and 97 models.
