? about a few problems

Lately my 94 Z28 hasnt been feeling up to power not to mention that i just broke my tranny mount and the rear is on its way out. I have a few questions.
1) When I put the vortec elbow on the intake i hace to thread the IAT. The little black plastic "fingers" on top broke. If the IAT was bad would I lose performance?
2) My Low Coolant Sensor is bad, and I just disconnected it so the light would go off. Could that cause a problem?
3) My "rigged" cold air, Im not sure how good it is, and if it is leaking on not. But i will be buying a Lingenfelter CAI soon. Would my really bad hack job of a cold air intake cause problems?
4) When I let the car sit for a week or so, and start it. Ill turn the key like normal, and it wont fire. I turn it again and it starts but is sorta choppy for like 5 seconds then cleans out. Injectors?

A few background notes. New plugs, wires, O2's, Opti, MSD coil, and the mods in the sig. Any ideas? Thanks If you need more info just let me know!

Jon

Re: ? about a few problems

If you have a leaky intake track, that will definitely hurt performance as unmetered air (MAF can't see it) will cause you to run lean. Your starting problem is probably due to a discharged battery.
