about to replace rms have a ??

I'm about to replace my rear main seal and it looks like the adapter plate behind the rms is leaking as well. If I take that plate off and replace the seal would have to replace my oil pan gaskets as well??

Thanks
John

Yep. The housing cannot be removed without removing the oil pan.

No, the bottom of the timing cover is the complement to the RMS. It comes off after the pan.
