Yes you can remove all your A/C stuff without removing the heater. All you do is remove the A/C compressor, condenser, and all line that are hook up to the A/C unit. You dont even touch the heater unit. I kept mine on for the same reason cause the windows get fog up sometimes.

So what exactly do you need to get to remove the AC?

It appears you will need an extra tensioner if the compressor is removed....So what do you get, what what size belt do you need?

10115875 Part number for AC delete pulley.
Stock belt should work with this pulley, I had an underdrive crank pulley as well so I had to find a belt that fit by going a little smaller.
I left the Evap core in for now, I pulled out the compressor, the accumulator, and the condenser.
Lots more room to work now and the weight loss.

As far as I know the stock belt will work with the AC delete pulley.
If you have underdrive pulleys then you would want to go with what the manufacturer suggests.
I had to go a different route cause Aeromotive made my pulleys and even they did not know what size belt was required when using the crank and alternator pulleys.
I ended up using just the crank pulley and getting several belts until I found one that fit.

So where do you get the AC Delete pulley?

Also that 10115875 part number is hard to figure out.
The length is really all that is important. What is the length of that belt? 87.5"?

Call your local GM dealer - give him the number - pick up the pulley.

Stock belt will work fine

10115875 is the part # for the pulley (you appear to think its the belt #). You get it at a GM dealer if you like to pay top $$$ for parts. You call Jason Cromer or Dal Slabaugh if you like to pay about 1/2 of list price.

Stock belt is a stock belt. Some people with the 1LE delete pulley have found they need to go 1/2" shorter on the belt, others find the stock belt works.

D'oh!
Sorry, I did confuse the pulley and belt.
Thanks.
Is there anywhere to get it besides a dealer though?

Nope.
GM is the only one who makes it.
Give Jason Cromer a call and he can set you up way cheaper.
