Adjusting rockers tonight.. Unpleasant finding...

Little background.. New motor, only 800 miles on it soo far.. Was readjusting the rockers due to a minor tick on the drivers side..
But found this on the passenger's side...

Yeah very lucky.. Could have been alot worse!

When i pulled the rocker off and was setting it on my towel, the ball fell out and rolled down the front of my car.. I was like WTF?
Then looked back and saw the top the the pushrod and uh.... NO BALL!

I usually run the trick flows with the formed end on street stuff, for exactly that reason.

You should buy some nice one piece chromoly pushrods. Your valvetrain is to important to skimp on parts...
