I have always done that cause I freak out about the window going all the way down, call me wierd but maybe thats why my drivers side has lasted, the passenger one is the one I had to replace.

Yeah I got one a couple weeks ago. The motor ripped the mounts off my door. Im talking the mounts that go into the SMC platice part of the door. It has completely jacked my door. I have no idea how I am going to fix it.
