are there any hp advantages, whats so special about the promags that they sell for a 100 bucks more, I will make the switch if there is gains to be given but right now I just have magnums.

The Pro Mags are a full roller rocker where the Mags are a roller-tip rocker. I'm unsure of the power difference between the two, but the Pro Mags would offer less resistance in valvetrain movement.

go with the pro mags. they are a very good rocker. they are much more efficent than the magnums. deffinately worth the extra $

well I got the 1.6rr magnums on now but I will be running into some extra cash when I do my head swap #3 and figure well may be the will allow a couple extra ponys. I just got done talking to a buddy who said they may give me 1-2hp over but I would be able to rev higher. But I dont rev high shift point set at 6300.

Pro mags = Rebuildable, lifetime warranty on the body of the rocker arm.
Everything else = crap

I've busted up 3 valve springs with my pro magnums and haven't even scratched them. The rocker arms basically beat the **** out of everyting until there were a lot of little bits left No damage to the rocker whatsoever My springs and retainers though

Ummmm, Pro Magnum are Chromemoly steel while the Magnum series are just your run of the mill steel I believe.

Chromemoly=lighter, stronger, and more expensive than the regular ones.
