aftermarket coolant resevoir/overflow

i have a 87 s10 blazer w/ an lt1 and i was using the s10 coolant resevoir and didn't have any problems. but it cracked and now im looking for another resevoir. i figured i would go w/ something shiny and aftermarket, since all of the junkyard resevoirs are"junk". i was wondering if i would need something specific. would something like this work.

i don't know if it would need a vent, or shouldn't have a vent, or what the deal is really.
oh and i reailze thats not nice or shiny, lol

You definitely need a vent. And the end of the drain hose has to be below the reservoir coolant level, or it won't vacuum the coolant back into the radiator as it cools down.
