Again looking for help

So my camaro is still down. Still same symptoms Of shutting after temp starts climbing. Also tach needle jumps when punching the gas on nuetral and at low and high rpm's while running. The tach jumping is not always. I took the Icm to autozone to get it test.
• person said while testing the module it hesitated and took a while for it to pass two out x number of test. She tested twice and both time it hesitated to pass.
I have no codes that come up.

Any ideas?????

IF they tested the ignition modual.(Assuming your talking about an ignition modual) and they tested it multiple times and if it failed any then it is junk. The parts house I used that test ignition moduals test it 3 times, if it fails any it is trash

Re: Again looking for help

The ICM is heat sensitive, sometimes. Some people take a hiar dryer to the parts store when they have theirs tested.
They heat it up, and if it fails, then it is not to be used.
Replace it.

Shoebox has a good write-up regarding the ICM heat issue here: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#ICM_cooling
